MEET THE TEAM:
As the President of Elite Sports Performance and the Director of the Athlete Development Program, I hold a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from Kent State and certifications as a Sports Nutritionist and Youth Nutrition Specialist.
My lifelong passion for athletics led me to participate in various sports, ultimately focusing on football during high school and continuing into college. Since founding Elite in 2012, I have had the privilege of coaching thousands of athletes, from youth to professional levels. The most rewarding aspect of coaching for me is the relationships I build with my athletes and witnessing their growth both on and off the field.
Outside of coaching, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing flag football, and supporting Cleveland sports and the Buckeyes.
As the Director of the Soccer Program, I hold a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State and a Bachelor's degree from Wright State. My athletic background includes playing soccer at Wright State, as well as competing in the 100m and long jump on the track and field team. One of my proudest achievements was winning state and national titles during my senior year at Walsh Jesuit High School. I have two years of coaching experience with the North Royalton U9 girls' travel soccer team and have provided one-on-one and small group training at Elite Sports Performance for over five years. I find immense joy in fostering a love for the sport among young athletes, drawing inspiration from my mother and cherishing time with my family when I'm not coaching.
As a dedicated soccer coach, I hold a BA in AYA Education and have a rich history in the sport, including being a four-year varsity starter in high school and earning accolades such as two-time All Ohio and the 2004 News Herald Player of the Year. My experience spans across seven years of high school varsity soccer, eleven years of high school track, and additional coaching in JV basketball and travel soccer, along with private training sessions. I find immense joy in witnessing an athlete's growth, particularly those transformative moments when everything clicks. My father has been my greatest influence, instilling in me values that I carry into coaching. Outside of coaching, I enjoy spending time with my children, participating in sports, and relaxing on the beach.
As a soccer coach, I hold certifications in NFHS-Fundamentals of Coaching, First Aid, CPR, Concussion Management, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest. I played for Eastlake North from 2002 to 2006 and have coaching experience with the Junior Varsity team in 2021 and 2022, as well as the Varsity team in 2023. I find great joy in witnessing athletes overcome challenges and gain confidence, both in soccer and in life, believing that empowered athletes are unstoppable. My husband, Nick, has been a significant influence in my life, exemplifying patience and empathy as a coach. Outside of coaching, I enjoy playing pickleball, watching the NWSL and USWNT, and exploring the outdoors with my family, including our fluffy doodle, Wilson.
